November 2025 Writing Update

Hello readers!

Now I know I usually use this space to talk about the books I’ve read and do a little recap about what I did in the prior month.

Did I read 12 books in October? Yes. Out of those 12, did I rate only three of them 4 stars or above? Also, yes. Am I going to discuss them here? Not this time.

Now, if I happen to read a book that truly wows me, then yes, I’ll discuss it in this space. But October, unfortunately, wasn’t a wow month for me on the reading front. Stay tuned, though.

For now, I want to start something new. I want to focus more on my whole writing journey!

So far, I’ve written and posted my first novel, The Secrets We Keep, on Wattpad. I began writing and posting chapters back in September 2023 and finished it in June 2024. If you’re interested in reading it, it’s available here. It has cheating themes and plenty of spice for your reading pleasure. Enjoy!

Since then, I switched gears and pumped out two feature-length scripts, one based on The Secrets We Keep book and another based on the vampire coming-of-age script that existed as a pilot.

After that, I embarked on my second foray into fiction, writing and completing my second novel, the vampire coming-of-age story, Title TBA. I started writing it in November 2024 and finished it, including editing, just last week. Yay! Now, it’s in the hands of my readers, i.e., my family members. Once they provide feedback and I have a chance to tweak it a bit more, I’ll begin the querying process and document it here as it progresses.

For now, I’m working on some micro-drama scripts based on past screenplays and ideas I’ve wanted to develop but hadn’t gotten around to yet. So essentially, I will be writing the equivalent of about three more features, broken up into bite-sized dramas.

After that, I will finally return to The Secrets We Keep series with book 2, posting chapters on that on a weekly basis. And I think I can share this little tidbit of information. Shhh… but book 2 of the series will be told from Patrick’s POV.

Thank you so much to my readers who have been patient with me as I’ve been sort of pulled in several different directions lately. Writing and completing 3 feature-length screenplays is no joke and will take some time. But I have to remind myself that John Hughes reportedly wrote Weird Science in a weekend. So… I’ll draw inspiration from that.

Watch out for Book 2 of The Secrets We Keep series, chapters dropping in the new year on Wattpad.

Happy reading and happy writing!
